John Kern attended Valparaiso University where he received both my Bachelor of Science in Health Science (BSHS) and a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPA). Upon graduating, he was thrilled to be able to join Mullally Sports and Family Medicine in December 2020. John Kern’s approach to patient care is to help people identify and achieve their health goals so that they can live the longest, healthiest, and happiest lives possible.

Originally, He is from Park Ridge, Illinois, but “The Region” has become his new home over the past few years. He is looking forward to getting to know Northwest Indiana better in the years to come. In his free time, he loves to unearth cheesy jokes, travel the world, and spend lots of time with his friends and family. He is also a diehard Cubs, Blackhawks, and Bears fan (even when this is easier said than done). He look forward to seeing you in the office.
